Function First Fashion Later

This project was all about creating a functional and accessible connection from our clients’ home down to the lake. Working with the existing slope, we built a series of natural stone retaining walls to create multiple tiers, making the transition safer, easier to navigate, and built to last. With 90 tons of natural fieldstone used throughout the project, we created substantial retaining walls that provide the structure this hillside needed while adding a timeless, rugged character that fits naturally into the lakeside setting. By working with the existing grade rather than against it, we were able to create the access our clients needed while keeping the look and feel of the property natural.
